Given their distinct handle, The Brother Brothers make no mistake about who in fact they are. That clarity makes sense, given the fact that when sibling harmonies are employed, they’re generally so exacting that they tend to define those that lay claim to that connection. Like the Everly Brothers, Adam and David Moss have a vocal blend so perfect and precise that their combined delivery is fused as one exquisite instrument, turning every song they sing into a natural example of harmony and happenstance.
 
That said, there’s often a risk in attempting cover songs, especially those of a better-known variety. And in fact, Cover to Cover provides a Soft Rock jukebox of sorts, with selections plied from favorites that are certainly no strangers to most baby boomers’ ears. “That’s How I Got to Memphis”, “These Days”, “You Can Close Your Eyes”, and “I Will” could be considered part of life’s soundtrack over the past 50 years. Even those that didn’t grow up with them the first time around can likely plug into the familiarity factor based on their parents’ record collections or a regular listen to Classic Rock radio.
 
That said, credit The Brother Brothers with putting their own stamp on the proceedings. Along with applying their voices in sync, they’re also astute multi-instrumentalists who add further layers of precision and perfection, which, in turn, distinguish this effort overall. Consequently, only a true curmudgeon would criticize their efforts, and even fewer listeners would tend to disregard them entirely. This is, after all, a welcome reminder that great songs never grow old, no matter how many times they echo in our memory. It would hardly be fair to demean the pair for their efforts or to doubt their devotion. Cover To Cover makes it clear that their desire and determination are clearly in sync.
