Over the past decade, Jason Isbell has had major press print and fan love from both the Americana and NPR listeners for his one-two punch solo album releases, Southeastern (2013) and Something More Than Free (2015), solidifying his fame, releasing the full band album, The Nashville Sound (2017). Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit lay claim to the crown as the greatest Rock’n’Roll band on the planet, a title shared with former bandmates DBT, the two taking on the Rolling Stones/Beatles roles for Roots music.
