Beginning in the late 1990’s, The Great Divide got traction in the Red Dirt scene. A couple hundred shows a year and five album releases took the band into the early 2000’s making all the right moves. Garth Brooks recorded one of their songs. The Great Divide return in 2022 to follow-up on that success with their first album release in twenty years, Providence, sitting in the #1 spot with “Good Side” on the weekly Top Ten for Wednesday November 2, 2022. The White Buffalo offers “Not Today” from his upcoming (11-11-22) release Year of the Dark Horse alongside Calista Garcia and her single “The Coals, from her early 2023 release Confession. Beau Jennings and the Tigers have a new single “I’ve Got Your Heart Right Here”, Memphis Kee cover Ryan Adams “Come Pick Me Up”, and Golden Shoals deliver a Mountain Murder (Power) Ballad with their single “One Morning in May”. The Harlem Gospel Travelers encourage to “Look Up!”, Angela Easterling is a “Middle-Age Dreamer” and Luke Daniel extolls the virtues of “Saturday”. The Brothers Comatose close-out the chart shining brightly with “Harvest Moon”, joined by AJ Lee, for the weekly Top Ten on Wednesday November 2, 2022.
