Josh Abbott Band spins an anthem for the after-work crowd as they smoothly transition into a night out in the neon with the single “Barstool Boys” while L.A.’s Rock and Roots royalty The Hangmen return with Stories to Tell (due 09-08-23), still dedicated to the role of bridging the gap between The Gun Club and The Rolling Stones. Stephen Wilson, Jr, a former boxer and a scientist, sings of “patches” from his upcoming (09-15-23) release son of dad as Buddy & Julie Miller slowly spin in a relationship tangle with “I’ll Never Live It Down” from the upcoming (09-22-23) In the Throes while Las Vegas musician Shamir reveals “The Devil Said the Blues is All I Know” on the weekly Top Ten on Wednesday September 6, 2023.
