A slow gospel-bred trudge ushers The Red Clay Strays into the spiritual guidance suggested by the band in “Revival”. A low rumbling rhythm rides underneath the finger-pointing realizations collected in “People Hatin”” as an admission of limitations provides fodder for the story in “Can’t Fix You” and an effervescent groove takes a road trip “Down South”. These songs, and a satchel full of like-minded observations and messages make up the roster for The Red Clay Strays when they express Gratitude with their latest release. 
 
The Red Cay Strays, hailing from Mobile, Alabama, are a band on the rise. Years of working worldwide stages that helped fine-tuning their songs and live performances have made the band an overnight success. Gratitude smoothly continues the brand of The Red Clay Strays as they deliver their unique brand of Country music with Rock’n’Roll DNA firmly in place. A gnarly guitar wiggles across the equally swirling groove of “Don’t Wanna Know” as the rhythms creep and crawl underneath the feet exiting in the storyline of “Walking Away”. Gratitude puts a thick motion into the seductive beat counting “Fool’s Gold” as a whispered vocal asks questions; its tale pointing towards a universal pain while its melody unfurls curtains and lets in light to banish the grey of the storyline, A hush falls on the simple note configuration that opens the album with “Demons in Your Choir” as handclap drumbeats bring in the salvational stroll of its rhythm before exiting on the dreamscape marching motion of the Gratitude title track.
