‘Tis the season, and from The Great White North Canadian trio Elliott BROOD continue the October Halloween celebration when they apply a banjo to drive “Ghostbusters” into the #1 spot for the weekly Top Ten for Wednesday October 9, 2024. Lucinda Williams delivers entry number seven in her Lucinda’s Jukebox series with an album title that fills in all the details, Lucinda Williams Sings The Beatles from Abbey Road (due 12-06-24), and offering an advanced listen with “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”. Carsie Blanton has had enough and sings her rage into a bright, cheerful tune, “Dealing with the Devil”, as Micheal Rudd whispers “I Call Your Name” and Sierra Hull covers the Grateful Dead with the single “Black Muddy River”.
