Upending their recording process for album release number six, Shovels & Rope record songs they can recreate as a duo in a live setting for their new album, foregoing making music in the studio then rearranging for the tours. From the upcoming (09-06-24) release, Something is Working Above My Head, Shovels & Rope land in the lead spot with “Piranhanana” to begin the cycle of songs for the weekly Top Ten for Wednesday August 7, 2024.
