Picture
On her upcoming (06-03-22) release, Mary Gauthier mourns the death of friends while sending out arrows of optimism by changing the outlook by celebrating the joy of new love and personal contentment. She lands in the #1 spot for the weekly Top Ten for March 16, 2002 with “Amsterdam”, the lead track from Dark Enough to See the Stars. Los Angeles-based band The Americans have a sophomore release with the upcoming (05-06-22) Stand True, on the chart with the title track alongside Seth Walker who shares the first single, “The Future Ain’t What It Used to Be”, from his upcoming (05-20-22) I Hope I Know release. Railroad Earth have been teasing singles and announce upcoming (04-22-22) Anders Osborne-produced All for the Song with “Runnin’ Wild” joining Steve Poltz with his own announcement “It’s Baseball Season”. Casey Noel has a modern mountain murder ballad with her new single “Playing God” joining Vaneese Thomas (Rufus Thomas’ daughter) with “Same Blood Same Bone” from her upcoming (04-15-22) album Fight the Good Fight and Delbert McClinton, who pays tribute to his favorite tunes on Outdated Emotion (due 05-13-22), on this week’s list covering Jimmy Reed with the Blues boogie “Ain’t That Loving You”. Kentucky music man Josh Mitcham has a new single, advising “When You Lose You Learn’ from his Nobody Asked for This album and Daniella Cotton escorts us off the chart with hope for uncertain times with her single “Follow Me” on the weekly Top Ten for Wednesday March 16, 2022.
