The powerhouse trio I’m With Her (Aoife O’Donovan, Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz) are basking in “Ancient Light” at the top the weekly Top Ten for Wednesday March 12, 2025. The song is the lead cut from their upcoming (05-09-25) release, Wild and Clear and Blue. The album, produced by Josh Kaufman (Bonny Light Horseman) is the second outing for I’m With Her, and remains steadfastly locked into the Folk traditions of the band’s mission statement. Spanning the Blues generation gap, Bobby Rush partners with Kenny Wayne Shepherd to erase the 44 years that separate the musicians and offer Young Fashioned Ways (due 03-21-25). They make the chart asking “Who Was That?”, joined by Dustin Brown with a DIY guide to success with “Burn”, from his upcoming (03-28-25) self-titled release and Jazz-Funk-Rock musical collective Wabi Sabi, with their recent love-letter single “One of a Kind”. Alison Krauss and Union Station, featuring Jerry Douglas, return with an upcoming (03-28-25) release, Arcadia, and deliver a historical story through the song “Granite Mills”. Pug Johnson offers the title track to his upcoming (03-28-25) release, El Cabron, Ron Turner provides “100% Blues” on a new single, Kate Vargas is heading “Downtown” with her new single, and Reed Turchi shares “Get Back Train” from his upcoming (05-30-25) release, World on Fire.
