For his upcoming (02-26-21) release, Room Enough, Time Enough, Arizona musician David Huckfelt brought in a collective of musical friends for kinship and activism. The beautiful structured “Hidden Made Known” lands David Huckfelt in the #1 spot on the weekly Top Ten for Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Produced by Jano Rix (The Wood Brothers), East Nashville (and San Francisco) resident Brigitte DeMeyer prepares to release Seeker (03-26-21), and is joined on “Salt of the Earth” my her producers bandmates, Chris and Oliver Wood, as well as Alfreda McCrary (The McCrary Sisters). Partnering on Envoy Records label for a double-sided single, both Elijah Ocean (“Phoenix”) and Peter Donovan (“Let’s Go”), make this week’s chart with their new tracks. Tom Jones will release Surrounded by Time in 2021, and covers Todd Snider on the album (and the Top Ten) with “Talking Reality Television Blues” while Australian songwriter Natalie D-Napoleon explores the multiple complexities of women with her upcoming (03-26-21) release, You Wanted to Be the Shore but Instead You Were the Sea, on the list with “Wildflowers”. Florida’s charismatic Indie Folk band The 502’s are on the chart with “I Keep Rolling”, Carolina’s one-man band, THE Dubber has a new album coming in March (Southern Cachet) and offers a listen with “Simple Song (Lies)” beside Lydia Luce with “Tangled Love”, from her upcoming (02-26-21) release, Dark River. While Drew and Ellie Holcomb would normally tour, 2020 provided time for a different outing, and the pair took their kids through the wonders of Tennessee, penning a tune for one son in “Hey Rivers” on the weekly Top Ten for Wednesday February 17, 2021.
