Alternate Root TV will return to the National airwaves on September 28th with a simulcast here on the Alternate Root site. This is the first show of the long awaited 3rd season of Alternate Root TV. Reb Landers returns to host the show from the new studio located outside of Boston. In addition to some new videos and guest appearances by Jon Byrd, Ellis Paul, Seth Walker, Kevin Gordon and more our first show features an in studio appearance by Iza Jane, a Western Massachusetts rootsy quartet fronted by singer/songwriter/guitarist Sarah Benoit. Iza Jane (the band recently dropped the Greatwood Acoustics from the name) has a different line-up than the last time we had the pleasure of their company. Joining the band on guitar is Dan Linskey. Nick Langlois and Matt McManamon remain from the original line-up on banjo and bass respectively. Here's a couple songs from the session recorded not long ago.
