Not exactly on the border of the Arctic Circle, Sunday Wilde is a cornerstone for the Blues in her Ontario, Canada home, located approximately 1,000 miles south of the Arctic border, in the small town of Atikokan, located in the Canadian wilderness. Her home is on a remote stretch of highway, yet the music she brings to the world circles the globe when Sunday Wilde continues the traditions of Blues masters who merged their art with life, creating a community with words and music.
 
Bringing her music to small logging towns, Sunday Wilde is possibly the northernmost point for the territory identifying the global reach of The Blues. Her recent release, the E.P. The One Mic Sessions, puts the power of her vocals front and center. She opens the release with “One Mic Love Bender” while a barrelhouse piano leads the musical charge when the E.P. asks “What Would Your Mama Say”. Sluggish pounds on a late night piano become the slow steps that create an edgy border for the emotions coursing through the tale of “Mamma I Fear” as Sunday Wilde exits the release on a dreamy sway as her mind relives the time spent “Talking to That Man”.
