The beat takes a bite out of “Fireflies” as Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers open with the track for their recent release, Hell to Breakfast. For their ninth studio album, The Peacemakers continues to hold up life experiences as a muse for the stories set against a backing soundtrack Southwestern Rock’n’Roll. Hell to Breakfast makes a plan to “Wake Up Whistlin’” over a smooth Rock rhythm while the album hears the tale of a character trapped on a daily roller-coaster life in “American Drugs” and saddles up for trouble as the band gallop across the border beats of “Agua Caliente”.
 
The Peacemakers hush the playing when Roger Clyne sings a song for a love that grows stronger with age for “Sail into Silver” as an electric guitar riff beckons to climb aboard in “Getaway” and spins a Western tale for “Sleepin’ with My Rifle”.
