The gem that is Margo Price is multi-faceted. Over the course of multiple album releases, Margo has re-branded Country music while honoring its traditions yet still pushing against the confinement of its border rules. She returns to the Outlaw stance that she championed in her early years with a new album. The sound of a fiddle draws back the musical curtain for the release when a lonesome melody supports her as she proudly claims the role of Hard Headed Woman on the first track entry point, “Introduction (Hard Headed Woman)”. A hammered beat is as defiant as her Country Soul decisions in “I Still Don’t Give a Damn” while tender acoustic strings pick out a pattern to wrap around the memories of the past stretched over “Nowhere is Where”.
 
Newcomer Jesse Welles joins Margo Price over rhythmic beats that plays tag with the equally lyrical patter of “Don’t Wake Me Up” as Tyler Childers steps up to the microphone for the Classic Country AM gold of “Love Me Like You Used to Do”.  Hard Headed Woman is not shy about need-to-know advice as it shouts out “Don’t Let the Bastards Get You Down” and puts the hammer down to pound out a groove in “I Just Don’t Give a Damn”. The crown of Outlaw Queen rests firmly on the head of Margo Price as points (former) love towards the door in “Kissing You Goodbye”, riding a honky tonk Rock’n’Roll rhythm that takes air in “Red Eye Flight” as she recalls her entry with a personal accounting in Nashville with “Losing Streak”.
