A badass boogie begins the short song cycle for GA-20 when snarling guitar riffs play tag with the sad lover’s tale in “Cryin’ & Pleadin’”, the opening cut on the recently released EP, Vol 2. GA-20 continues their mission of offering a refresh for vintage sounds as part of the traditional Blues revival. The trio returns with guitarist Matthew Stubbs as well as drummer Joshua Kiggins and Cody Nilsen on vocals/slide guitar. Soul shouts cry out in “Strangers Blues” over a non-stop backbeat as EP, Vol 2sways on a classic Rock’n’Roll rhythm that falls to its knees with the last hopes of “I Love You, I Need You”.
