Waking up one morning humming Iggy Pop’s tune “Cry for Love”, Otis Gibbs liked the way it sounded. After trying it out on guitar, he recorded the song with Thomm Jutz, along with some fiddle assistance from Tammy Rogers (The SteelDrivers), and sent it out into the world. A good toss landed the track in the #1 position for the Top Ten on Wednesday March 25, 2026. The Paula Boggs Band is joined by The Blind Boys of Alabama and Valerie June for “Ain’t Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me ‘Round” from her upcoming (03-27-26) release, Sumatra. Old 97’s are now streaming an E.P. previously only available on vinyl and released on Record Store Day 2022. The E.P., One More Ride: Old 97’s Perform the Songs of Johnny Cash, offers “Big River” for this week’s chart while The Avery Set deliver a new single, “Trainwrecks”, recorded live in a cabin in Arkansas. Lily Vakili confides that “Anybody Knows” with a cut from her upcoming (05-08-26) release, Live Wire EP as Lacy Green sings of “The Dreaming Kind” on a new single. Luke Winslow-King offers advice with “Don’t Worry Your Mind” from his upcoming (03-27-26) album Coast of Light, The Youngers offer “Dreaming”, the title track from their recently released album, and UK-based piano man Henri Herbert offer “American Psycho”. Ike Reilly featured Shane Reilly as he becomes a “Bad, Bad Man” with a new single on the Top Ten on Wednesday March 25, 2026.
